ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member for Frank Cooper - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You will be responsible for managing the administrative and operational functions of the State Farm agent’s office. This position requires advanced organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. You will play a critical role in supporting the agent and the team to achieve business goals and ensure exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Management
- Oversee all administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
- Manage office schedules, including meetings, appointments, and events.
- Maintain and update office records, files, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with State Farm standards.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor office staff, including performance evaluations and professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
Customer Service
- Handle complex customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure that all customer interactions reflect the high standards and values of State Farm.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance client satisfaction.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with lead management, follow-ups, and customer relationship management.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support business growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the agent.
Financial Management
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and manage office budgets, monitoring expenses and optimizing cost efficiency.
- Assist in financial reporting and analysis as required.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with State Farm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure operational integrity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential issues.
Office Maintenance
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organized and functional workspace.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure a safe and clean office environment for employees and clients.
Qualifications
- Property and Casualty licenses (must have currently)
- Life and Health licenses (must have currently)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management, administration, or a related role.
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of State Farm products and services preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
